Feedback wanted.

Hi Pete, Like Josh, I like the branding but in the headlines I would probably go with something like "How social media makes bigger profits" or "Want to make bigger profits through social media".
Yes there are too many options. You know the sales pitch. Do you want the black one or the white one?
Respond here and I'll choose the best colour for you.

I think Josh has hit the nail on the head for most of it.

Re: Website redesign underway. I hadn't considered the gap between "yes I want more sales and profits" and "now what do I need?" The way it's structured I've assumed that people know what they want, and often that's not the case. You've got me thinking.

Re: Website redesign underway. Feedback wanted.

Hey Pete, I like the direction of your branding with the cartoonish stuff, makes it all look very simple and fun which is always a good thing.

From a conversion point of view, I think you are lacking a clear sense of direction in what you want people to do. You are giving them too many options to choose. The headline at the top is great (really great), but if business owners want more sales and profits, how do they know if they need facebook or twitter or social media management?

I'd be happy to speak with you further about it, but I would be adding a video (big surprise there!) and a single minded direction on what people should do next, and ideally get them to subscribe to get started. You mention giving them several (5) different 'offers' in that main slider area which means there will be even more for them to consider.

Give them something for free to start the relationship - and do more with video :)

Again, the branding and visual style is great!

Latest Article Of Harvard Business Review May 2011-04-27
Dependence only on explicit knowledge prevents leaders from coping with change. The scientific, deductive, theory-first approach assumes a world independent of context and seeks answers that are universal and predictive.
However, all social phenomena—including business—are context dependent, and analyzing them is meaningless unless you consider people’s goals, values, and interests along with the power relationships among them.
Yet executives fail to do just that.

Re: How Queensland Police used Facebook to deliver news in a crisis

That's really a great idea.

Re: How Queensland Police used Facebook to deliver news in a crisis

Will do Jane.
